Lovely to meet you
ABOUT ME
My initial interest in Chinese medicine began with a personal health history that western medicine was unable to diagnose and treat. I began to experience debilitating stomach pain seemingly out of nowhere one summer towards the end of college. I found myself visiting the ER and multiple specialist offices frequently; none of which seemed to be able to provide clear answers or treatment. Desperate for a remedy, I decided to try acupuncture.
I remember going into my appointment bent over and white in the face from pain and leaving as if nothing even happened. I thought to myself, "What on earth is this stuff and how did it work like that?"
Not too long after this, I was given the opportunity to move to NYC, I left my Fortune 500 corporate career, and attended the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine for my Master of Acupuncture degree.
It has been such a gift and blessing to act as a guide to those who choose to heal. I am honored to help individuals and families maintain health and heal from both chronic and acute ailments.
I like to place emphasis on self-commitment and self-discovery, meaning that I prefer to take the role of a facilitator or a guide, rather than being the one who takes credit for positive results. My methodology follows the traditional and modern research and practices in the field overall, and I take care of keeping on top of continuing education in the field.
